Is there going to be any step in providing more lodgings or home spacing for the evacuees? I am trying to find temporary lodgings for my family and friends from new orleans; unfortunately, everything is taken. I know it might not be one of the main concern right now. I would just like to know if there will be any action in the near future.

It's been my experience that all of us that evacuated when we were told, are getting the least amount of attention...

Honestly, we just a step above the ones in shelters.. Only difference is, we're paying for our food and shelter.. and won't be accepted into any shelters when our money runs out.. Ugh. I haven't seen any news coverage on anyone that is stranded out of town because they were smart and evac'd and now have no home to go home to.. My wife has emailled several shows on CNN and a couple local media outlets.. No one has responded..

I guess since we're not looting or stuck in the superdome, we're not important anymore...
