Volunteers are needed at the fieldhouse. I think you can just show up and start helping out.

I volunteered at the PMAC from 8 PM to 12AM. They say that late in the day and early in the morning is when they need volunteers. I wheeled people off of the buses to medical staff into the PMAC and Fieldhouse and got prescription filled. IF there arent buses arriving, you are asked to fold clothes or unload stuff.

Also, if you like animals, some are being held at the Agricultural Center. These animals usually have owners that are being held at the PMAC or Fieldhouse. They may need ppl to walk them, wash down cages, and whatever else.

I went to the fieldhouse and they dont need anyone Sunday but may after that.

I was in Hammond, Louisiana last night at a private school unloading and loading trucks with supplies.

Please contact your church if you belong to one to see how to get involved. Or if you know of an organization that needs a helping hand make a post.

Thanks to all of you who are participating on the site.
